The journey in education is both beautiful and challenging. My educational consulting support can help your family grow closer in the hard times rather than farther apart.
If you’re like most of my readers, you’re a parent in a busy family. You love your family and many days wonder if there’s something you could do different to calm what seems to be regular chaos. You work hard and go to bed tired – always! Busy isn’t your goal; you haven’t forgotten your heart’s desire for your family to do more than try daily to complete everything on the agenda.
But sometimes you feel stuck: Daily struggles in your children’s lives seem more like sink holes than speed bumps – they cause destructive conflict instead of building strength and encouraging maturity. Maybe you feel like this reader:
“I feel overwhelmed. No matter what I’m doing, I feel like it’s not enough. I want home to be a place of fun and comfort. But very often, our home is a place of teasing and arguing. I want our family to work together. Instead, “That’s not my job” or “That’s not fair” is what we say to each other – a lot. And then there’s helping the kids with homework. . .back to where I started – I feel overwhelmed.”
Does This Sound Like You?
– Do you feel like life is coming at you faster than you can manage it?
– Do you fear the important things are falling through the cracks?
– Are you afraid the struggles in your children’s lives are tearing your family apart?
If so, you’re not alone. Every parent has felt this way.
I Know How You Feel
I know how it feels to be in over your head – to have family struggles outweigh your strength or your wisdom to deal with them, while you still have to go through the motions of every day life. This is one of the main reasons I offer several consulting products, including Homeschool Education Consulting.
For years, Doug and I struggled in these same ways. Too often, struggles caused our relationships to fall apart instead of hard times inviting us to work together and help each other. As a former public and private school teacher and administrator, and now a successful family consultant, I have faced the reality that life is both beautiful and hard. Doug and I are learning to stop making it harder by pretending it’s not hard!
We’re also finding joy connecting in community; good friendships help us in the hard. We desire to live in this kind of community with you and your family.
My Goal in Writing My Blog – and building this website
Through my blog, and homeschool education consulting, my mission is to give you the clarity, courage, and tools you need to help your family struggle well, love well – and succeed in life.
I trust when families align values, motives, attitudes, and actions with truth, everyone becomes better equipped; everyone also develops the kind of personal integrity that helps them love well and succeed at life.
Parents don’t like it when their children struggle. We help parents support their children so they can struggle well, which ensure families grow closer in hard times instead of farther apart. Our work is to come alongside you as parents and help you build your family story in a way that leaves an influence and impact for good. Your family NameBrand can leave a legacy.
Our work – and my blog posts – focus on seven “tools” that build integrity:
